yaba daba doo

Today I decided to go in early to work and volunteer some hours for the nursing home i work for. With Halloween coming up, they like to send halloween trick or treat baskets filled with candy to the doctors affiliated with the nursing home. It’s also filled with the nursing home’s pamphlets, notepads and other accessories that help get the word out. The baskets were so much fun  to make. I wish I had a camera to take a picture..Don’t think my office would be too happy bout it if they caught me doing it. donno if that’s against corporate policy and dad’s really possessive bout his cam. oh well… hmm.. but i did meet a cool dude. he was way senior to me..like in his 50′s or 60′s but very friendly and down to earth.and happy go lucky… he was very interesting. in a short span of chatting with him i learned that he taught music. he played violin and piano. he knew that Bombay was now Mumbai and he could whistle theme tune to the Flintstones cartoon. He was very knowledgeable about Indian music. He had a folk violin from India. He knew quite a bit bout the tabla, the sitar, and many classical Indian artists. He told me he teaches a class called World music in which he introduces his students to music from Africa, India and other parts of the world. He said he mainly focuses on Indian music. It’s so refreshing to meet people who are so happy and good natured. I hope to bump into him again soon and also meet more people like him. The ironic interesting thing was.. He was whistling the theme song to the Flintstones as I mentioned before. And when I was finally done volunteering and ready to start my regular shift I signed into my computer as usual and went on to the Internet only to see Google’s main page with a Flintstone theme since it was their 50th anniversary!!! how ironic is that!!

It was a good day to say the least.. I honestly feel weird but happy bout the fact that the days seem to be going by faster now. I really can’t believe we’re going to be at Friday tomorrow. This is a good thing considering I’m waiting for december to come around so I can finally know the status of my visa. When he gets that visa I’ll be having a huge celebration.. Anywho, it’s late so better hit bed.. this light is turned off..

Dear Borderline Hoarder,

I care for you and I don’t like seeing you living in filth but you choose to anyways. From the maggots breeding in your dirty dishes,  the mine field of dog poop in your backyard, the layers of fur coating every single thing in your house, the bean bags being used as toilets by your cats, overflowing garbage cans in the kitchen bathroom and backyard, the vomit stains on the carpet that haven’t been scrubbed clean, the lines of milk cartons half finished and fermenting on the back porch, the spilled dog and cat food littered around the kitchen table, the fungus filled fruit baskets on the table, the inches (yes inches) of grease and burnt food lining your toaster oven. You’re engaged, planning on getting married in May and you plan on having children soon after. Do you plan on raising them in this filth? What a shame that you have been brought up in a healthy lifestyle and you choose to live like a pig. I think a pig would be cleaner than you are. I’m angry at you for not respecting yourself enough to change your ways. You are a borderline Hoarder. I would not be surprised if I saw you on the show one day. Maybe I will call a hoarding psychologist when I have the time and money and set up an intervention.. You need to get help. I hope you find it soon before it’s too late..  this light is turned off..

ive decided to move to wordpress and am in the process of shifting the blog… i hope that i can still keep in touch with all of the friends i have made on heres!! im definitely removing all my posts from here piece by piece (damn xanga doesn’t have an import feature :/) but im thinking of retaining this id to continue commenting on all of your blogs when time permits.. i know ive not visited any of u in a long long time but i will surely visit soon… i know keep saying it..but it willhappen promise… xangas given me some good mems and bad ones too.. i dont find it as versatile as wordpress which i had the chance to tinker with for a work blog ive been developing it.. i feel cramped in this blog and i need to spread my wings.. i thnnk im ready to let go outside of the box and so my decision to move to wordpress.. i think in many ways wordpress is frustrating because it takes hours for me to sometimes set up how i want the theme and appearance but in the end i am left with this feeling like i have actually built my blog from the ground up brick by brick and i just have this feeling of satisfaction… i must sound really corny lol..  i will send across the link to my new blog.. dont want to post it publicly so will msg it to those interested!! love y’all loads and loadssss
